Spending time ... Time is not an asset

"Spending time" is actually a more appropriate idion for how we live our days. After all, we spend time the same way we spend money. Even if time is not an asset for you to own, we are constantly spending it. We also see this in the Chinese idion 花时间 just as we say 花钱.

So clearly we must spend our time wisely. Unlike money, we cannot put time in a bank to earn interest in the form of extra hours or days. There is definitely no equivalent of a Central Provident Fund Retirement Account where we can stash our time savings to be drawn out at our leisure in the future.

But to borrow financial parlence, how do you manage your time wisely for maximum returns? Is it all for self-actualization and pursuit of personal goals?
